Happy Friday, friends.\u00a0 Here’s hoping you survived the week.\u00a0 Although, if you are reading\u00a0this then I have to assume you did <\/em>survive.\u00a0 And not only did you survive, you chose to celebrate your survival by checking in with the ol’ Suburban Life.\u00a0 So, I thank you.\u00a0 And my little blog thanks you. Being that it’s TGIF and all it’s time to recap some of the goodies of the week.\u00a0 The things that got you through the Mondays and the Tuesdays and the…well, you get the point.\u00a0 Did you watch any good TV lately?\u00a0 Read any good books, magazines or blogs?\u00a0 Try any great recipes or eat any amazing\u00a0food?\u00a0 Do tell! <\/a> I have\u00a0 recently discovered the Netflix series, “Bitten”.\u00a0 And it’s consuming my life.\u00a0 Which is kind of appropriate since it’s about werewolves.\u00a0 Who consume lives.\u00a0 It’s kind of a Twilight-meets-True Blood-meets-Days of Our Lives.\u00a0 So far there is only\u00a0Season\u00a0One available to watch but I’m hoping a Season Two will make the cut soon!\u00a0 \u00a0 Warning:\u00a0 watching “Bitten” while on the elliptical machine at the gym might incite curious stares as it is prone to a raunchy sex scene here and there.\u00a0 Don’t be the local perv at the gym.<\/p>\n

Books\/Magazines\/Blogs<\/h2>\n

<\/a> I have been cyber-stalking Pinterest Told Me To, a\u00a0fashion blog created by Scheaffer, a pinterest-aholic, who decided to turn her binge-pinning\u00a0into recreating outfits inspired by…you guessed it, Pinterest.\u00a0 Her blog posts are FULL of fashion inspiration and she links like crazy!\u00a0<\/em> Home girl has the inside scoop on so many cute things, a daily visit to her blog is a must.\u00a0 Bonus<\/em>: she also recaps Bachelor\/Bachelorette\/Bachelor in Paradise episodes.\u00a0 And it’s amazing.\u00a0 Bonus-Bonus:<\/em> her bestie is actually the sister of Bachelor Sean.\u00a0 ‘Member him?<\/p>\n

All the Foods<\/h2>\n

<\/a> You all.\u00a0 The hubs and I tried out a local brew pub\u00a0for our anniversary celebration and it DID NOT disappoint.\u00a0 I ordered, wait for it, the Smoked Tri-Tip Cheese Steak.\u00a0 It had aioli, you guys.\u00a0 And smoked tri-tip.\u00a0 And cheese. And a sourdough bun.\u00a0 AND SOMETHING TO DIP IT IN.\u00a0 Guys.\u00a0 It was so worth loosening my bra to the outside hooks, let me tell ya.\u00a0 Now I’m going to have to learn how to smoke meat and find out what the hell a horseradish aioli is because recreate this dish, I must.\u00a0 PS – I have a feeling mine won’t be anything like this one.\u00a0 PPS – I have good reason to have that feeling on account of I’ve never cooked a tri-tip OR made an aioli.<\/p>\n
